Kemetic Ritual Calendar for 2016

A Kemetic festival calendar for the calendar year 2016, using Kiya Nicoll’s core festival structure. Goals for the calendar included a decent selection of significant holidays to which people can add their own observances if desired, without overloading the average person with Entirely Too Much To Celebrate.

Lunar festivals and solstice festivals are based on UTC and with the month starting from the new moon in the relevant civil month, which means that Opet is WAY LATE in 2016.

Contains photographs of ancient artwork which include archaeological nudity. All photography used under relevant Creative Commons licenses.

Pagan Holiday Cornucopia 2016

The Pagan Holiday Cornucopia calendar is an answer to all the people I’ve heard say “But I want to know about all the pagan holidays, not just….” I didn’t get all of them.

It contains:

  • The Wheel of the Year: which includes the insular Irish fire festivals and the dates for the major druidic groups I could find.
  • Asatru: a version of an Asatru holiday calendar, in one variant
  • Russian holidays: a selection of Russian reconstructionist holidays
  • Religio Romana: not all the Roman holidays but since I don’t know enough to do the sort of winnowing I could do with the Kemetic, really rather a lot of them
  • Hellenismos: a festival calendar based on the Attic calendar
  • Canaanite recon: working around the Mediterranean basin
  • Kemetic calendar: dates the same as the straight-up Kemetic calendar
  • Thelemite holidays: modern paganisms exist too!
  • Discordian holidays: Fnord.
