Obviously, if you are interested in putting out your work in the world, there are other presses, or you can just go to Lulu yourself. However, I would ask that you consider submitting your work to Beewine Press.
I will review and edit your work, working with you to produce the best book that we can make together. I have worked for several web magazines as an editor, and continue to do contract work for Immanion Press, another small pagan/occult publisher.
I will also work with you to figure out how to do the cover design and artwork, do your formatting and layout, handle all the wrangling with Lulu’s uploads, and provide an ISBN so that your book can be marketed through Amazon and other commerce sites.
Further, as more work gets produced, in addition to whatever promotion of your own work that you do, you will get the benefits of a knock-on effect in the house: since our focus is reasonably tight, people who like one book from Beewine may consider yours as well. (Obviously, this is a long-term hope at the moment while we’re building up work, but it’s why I’m willing to go to the effort with the venture.)
I hope that you will consider working with Beewine for your book.
